This painting takes me back... way back to when I was a kid growing up in the South American country of Guyana. I hated school and preferred to play by myself on the banks of backyard streams where I collected little colorful tropical fish for my jar aquariums. The colors of 'Sunfish' take me back to those days of perpetual sunshine. This piece makes me nostalgic. A successful work of color, David. Congrats.
